Last January 11th, the City of Côte Saint-Luc welcomed a new Manager in Public Safety: Eddy Afram was recently nominated to the position of Division Chief / Operations Manager. He will join Jean-Marc in managing the day-to-day operations of all divisions (including VCOP) but will primarily be responsible for EMS and the Dispatch Center operations. Eddy will be replacing Alexandre Perrault who left his position recently to reprise his role as Paramedic.
Eddy
comes to us from Urgences-santé where he was instrumental in working with Corporate
partners (such as Côte Saint-Luc’s EMS) while also creating tools to streamline ambulance
operations, being one of Urgences-santé's corporate spokesperson in the media. Prior to his retirement, he was the corporate commander and executive officer to the CEO.
Already a volunteer member of our EMS team for many years, Eddy also
dedicates himself to the evolution, innovation, and improvement of pre-hospital
emergency care and is known for his analytical and no-nonsense operational approach. Eddy Afram will bring important expertise to our EMS operation
at this decisive period in the evolution of pre-hospital services in
Quebec.
You will likely be seeing Eddy in our meetings and events, as he intends to participate in our relaunch program, and provide insight into our daily operations.
Please help me welcome Eddy in his new challenges. Eddy can be reached in the office at 514-485-6800 #5105, or by email at eafram@cotesaintluc.org .
