We take pride in wearing a clean and neat uniform, so you would think that we'd want our patrol vehicles looking their best as well. Right? Well, apparently, it seems that some members have neglected to do the right thing and keep the interior of our patrol vehicles neat and tidy. Have a look at these recent "before" pictures. Ask yourself: would you want to sit in this vehicle?
Our vehicles deserve to be kept clean, not just for the sake of cleanliness, but for the next patrollers who will be volunteering 3 hours of their time in the same vehicle. So, if you spill the contents of your bag of chips, please pick it up. Similarly, please remove all wrappers, bags and bottles at the end of your shift. The next patrol will appreciate that you did that! You deserve to ride in a clean vehicle -and the next patrol expects nothing less.
So, what does a clean patrol vehicle look like? Check out these "after" pictures: (A trip to the car wash can be a beautiful thing!)
Whether it's wearing a clean and proper uniform, or patrolling in a clean and tidy vehicle, we, as vCOP members owe it to the CSL residents and our fellow vCOPs to look our best and be our best -always!
