Please refer to the attached descriptive design below. Once all the work is completed, the two areas highlighted in yellow will belong to exclusively to vCOP. Note that our current kitchen and washroom will now be shared with "Dispatch".
It is to be expected that we may encounter certain operational issues during the construction period, necessitated by changes to walls, electrical wiring, ventilation, computers and server installation, etc., but we will try to make the conversion as painless as possible.
Other changes forthcoming include an electronic swipe card access at the entrance, eliminating the old keypad entry lock. Once the swipe card system is installed, YOU MUST have your ID badge with you to gain access to the building.
Cleanliness issues have been addressed this week. The staircase, hallways, and offices will be cleaned more often and more thoroughly from now on.
As well; since Dispatch operates 24/7, we will no longer have time sensitive alarm issues to contend with. You may enter the office at any time without calling Dispatch for overnight and / or holiday shifts.
VERY IMPORTANT. Although we will be located right next to the Dispatcher's office, we need to respect their privacy. Once in our new office, please try to be professional and relatively quiet; as the top metre or so of all the offices are open and sound travels easily from one to the next.
