First of all, great big thanks to TL1 Michael Litvack and Sous-Chef Gerry TL2 Segal for a super vCOP BBQ. A great burger was had by all and it's good to see what we look like in civilian clothes. Thanks as well to Le Bifteque Boucherville (Peter and Cllr. Ruth Kovac) for sponsoring the beef. Thanks to those who attended. For those that didn't you missed a nice time, good food and compliments from yours truly, vCOP Coordinator and Public Safety Councillor Glenn J. Nashen, Mayor Anthony Housefather, Police Commander Sylvain Bissonnette, Public Security Chief Michel Martel and EMS Director Stephane Kallos. Also, in attendance to tip their hat: PS Lt. Anthony Tsakon and PSOs Manny Stavrakis and Johnny Champagne.
Second of all, our biggest event of the year, Canada Day at Trudeau Park is just days away and we need you. Lastly, Happy Anniversary vCOP. July 1st marks our 2nd anniversary. We've grown substantially over these 24 months. Many thanks to you all for making this an outstanding organization and to those of you going above and beyond with your regular and frequent coverage. Special thanks to Supervisors Murray Genis, Lewis M. Cohen and Mitchell Herf, to TLs Litvack, Segal, Levine and Schwartz and to vCOPs Sauve, Band, Mayman, Berkowitz, Greenberg and Lackman for their added help to keep the place humming.
